Raptors Football Academy is a different academy like it does not exist anywhere else.The unique learning environment offers our youth players the opportunity to train every session in top quality facilities alongside UEFA B and CAF A coaches.

PROGRAMS

TOTS 4-6 YEARS OLD

The tots of this age group will truly enjoy our sessions and start to recognize playing football through fun games. In this stage of learning of soccer, it is vital that learning is associated with pleasure, fun and sociable experience that will serve a base for future endeavors thanks to, qualified, energetic, enthusiastic, and absolutely fabulous coaches. Our academy will offer for your kid a great opportunity that will guaranty a soccer experience full of fun with mastering skills learned and needed to become a better football player. Our mission is to help Our tots to gain a sense of belonging and learn team spirit. Kids of Raptors will play fun games that build their individual skills by creating opportunities to be in contact with the ball as frequent as possible. Our training program is based to develop balance, control, and coordination which are the essential development keys needed for children. Football sport demands that kids develop the ability to move both their body and a ball with their feet That’s why soccer represent the best vehicle for achieving significant improvement in these three areas.

YOUTH U8,U10 AGE GROUPS

For This two age groups, Raptors Football Academy introduce during training all the necessary individual and collective football skills of attacking and defending. For the individual skills of attacking, we will start by the control of the ball, the running with it, dribbling and shooting with it. For the individual skills of defending, we will focus on clearance, tackling, interception, feinting, and body checking. As a team, Raptors Football Academy sessions will introduce for example the collective skills of attacking needed for both age groups (passing, combined moves, attack, support, triangle passing, keeping the ball, changing of direction and the progression of play). For the collective skills of defending, we will introduce the marking, tracking back, anticipation and the moving out. As well, for the physical motor skills, we will work to develop some abilities like coordination, width of movement and agility.

YOUTH U12,U14 AGE GROUPS

For both categories Raptors Football Academy develop during the training all the necessary football individual and collective skills of attacking and defending. We will develop the abilities of the ball control, dexterity, running with a ball, heading, dribbling, feinting, finishing, body checking and shooting for the individual skills of attacking. With regard to individual skills of defending, we will develop the clearance, tackling, interception, shielding the ball, feinting, and body checking. As a team, during Raptors Football Academy sessions ,we are planning to develop the collective skills of attacking needed for both age groups (passing, combined moves, losing the marker, attack, counter attack, support, triangle passing, give and go, holding up the ball, keeping the ball, changing of direction, controlling the play, width, depth and creating space). As well as, we will introduce the relay passing, overlapping, rhythm of play, changes in rhythm, speed of play, progressing play and vigilance. Concerning the collective skills of defending, we will initiate the shielding, vigilance, holding up the ball, pressing and closing down space. Moreover, we will expand the concept of marking, tracking back, anticipation, covering, switching position, triangle passing and the moving out. For the physical motor skills, we will care to develop important abilities (coordination, width of movement, agility, perceptive motor skills, strength, endurance and speed).

U16 & U18 AGE GROUPS

In this age groups, Raptors Football Academy training sessions concentrate on the consolidation of the necessary football individual and collective tactical and technical skills of attacking and defending. With regard to individual skills of attacking, we will console many abilities like ball control, dexterity, the running with a ball, heading, dribbling, feinting, finishing, body checking and shooting. For the individual tactical and technical skills of defending, we will deepen the concept of clearance ball, tackling, interception, shielding of the ball, feinting, and the body checking. Beside of this, during Raptors Football Academy sessions, we will enhance the collective tactical and technical skills of attacking needed for both age groups (passing, relay passing, combined moves, losing the marker, attack, counter attack, overlapping, support, triangle passing, give and go, holding up the ball, keeping the ball, changing of direction, controlling the play, width, depth, creating space, rhythm of play, changes in rhythm, speed of play, progressing play and vigilance. For the collective tactical and defending skills of defending, we will reinforce the contents needed for this age group(the shielding, vigilance ,holding up the ball, pressing closing down space, tracking back, anticipation, marking, covering, switching position, triangle passing and the moving out “holding the line”). We will base our training on physical motor skills to boost the most important abilities of the player (coordination, width of movement, agility, perceptive motor skills, max strength, endurance “start of anaerobic work” and speed).
